Teacher authors: Writing and publishing your own book

I really love meeting amazing people and getting to hear their stories and Jodi Heyes is definitely one of them! A primary teacher by profession, she is also a children's empowerment coach and a self-published teacher author.

Lockdown gave Jodi the opportunity to work on her stories and illustrations while spending most of her time at home with her newborn daughter Luna. Here’s an inspiring story of how her personal mental wellbeing journey paved the way to realising her passion to help children through her online courses and books.

Take the steps to find your passion and if you want to dip your toe into writing your own book, Jodi has incredible tips for you too! And if you do become the next teacher author then don't forget to let us know! We will be cheering you on from the sidelines.
